91 Mustang or Porsche 944 which to get for a first car?

I have a choice between a '91 Mustang LX convertible and an '83 Porsche 944 and I cant decide which to get for my first car...
opinions?

Skip the two and get a Honda Accord

neither one. The Porsche will be a money pit, breaking down almost constantly and a 1991 Mustang convertible unless it is extremely cheap isn't going to be a very good car.

If those are your only options buy the Ford. At least it won't break the bank to repair.

I would decide based on the your insurance costs. I would guess the Porker would be cheaper as I assume it is not an import and assuming it has been properly serviced it will probably be cheaper to run.
Sorry mate I assumed you were in the UK (I thought they sounded expensive to insure here for a new driver !!)
