91' dodge ram 1500 magnum V8 skid plates?

does it come with skid plates? i have been taking it off roading. wondering if sliding over dirt mounds is bad for it.

any suggestions. has been running smooth aside from having to strap my battery on better.
 
Look under the truck. If it has metal plates covering engine it's got skids. Simple enough.
