...replace with gear oil?
I know this one takes 75/80 weight gear oil
I guess I also want to know if having the ATF
I guess I also want to know if having the ATF in there when it takes the 75/80 gear oil would make the transmission slip? This is a nice car but its a mystery to me lol

In the axle or transmission or what? I dont think id worry about it. Find out what its supposed to have. Ive seen some transmissions that require regular motor oil and some that require auto trans fluid. If it is supposed to have gear oil, i wouldnt worry about flushing it, just drain it and refill with gear oil. ATF is still a lubricant, it wont hurt anything to have a little of it in there.

Check at a local quick lube type place, they have a book that specifies what oil belongs in a given trans, rear end, steering pump, etc. to ensure that you do have the wrong fluid- if so, there is usually a drain plug, it looks like a large bolt head in the bottom of the trans axle, if it is original it will be 19mm or 3/4 inch in size: the rest will be little. If I remember correctly, the MOPAR is on the "rear end" where the CV shafts go in, and toward the bottom.
