My son has started this weird habit lately. he is eating 3 4oz jars of baby food a day. Lately I haven't been able to get him to drink formula during the day. He usually wakes up and i try to give him a bottle but he wil only take an oz or two. Before his nap at noon he will drink a 6oz bottle. At 2pm I try to give him a bottle before his lunch but he wont really drink any of it. I then try to give him a bottle before his dinner at around 6. He will drink a 6oz bottle at bedtime and then will wake pu at least once during the night around 11 wanting a bottle. Sometimes he will wake up again. I am at a loss. I am getting tired of waking up to feed him instead of him just eating his bottles during the day. And before anyone suggests it I cant get him to take formula out of his sippy cup during the day either. Did anyones elses 9 month old go thru a stage like this? How long did it last and how did you get them to not need to wake up at night?
I breastfed him till 5 months by exclusively pumping but it was getting to be too difficult because I am the only one here with him seeing as my husband deployed. After months of trying we were never able to get him to latch properly.
