My son is 9 days old today. He has his days & nights mixed up because he will be sleep for a couple hrs then wake up for an hour then sleep for an hour and up for an hour. Then he is only up for about 4 hours during the day. My main concern is that when he is up & even sometimes in his light sleep he cries and grunts & his face turns red & he clenches his fists until gas or poop comes out. He spends a lot of time doing this. He is breastfed & receives supplement because of his jaundice. Is this maybe colic or maybe it is normal? Any advice of what to do I feel bad cuz he really struggles to get the gas & poop out. Thanks!
