89 Jeep Wagoneer 4.0 6cyl-- anyone know this vehicle? Have simple question.?

My fan belt idler pulley insides went bad after 200K miles so I bought a new one exactly the same size and put on. Now getting the old fan belt to fit back on is the problem. Any suggestions how?
