89 Jeep Wagoneer 4.0 6cyl-- AC clutch bearing squeels. What should it cost to fix?

Compressor works, but clutch bearing squeels real loud even when AC is turned off. Any idea of cost to repair?
Is it possible to just swap out serpentine belt with shorter one and totally bypass compressor? About what should that cost?
