8800 quality after a week?

i really want the 8800 but can't seem to get one for less than a grand. before i put down that much, i'm curious what the owner's impressions are after a little bit of ownership. is it all you'd thought it would be?

what are the positives?

negatives?

thanks. you guys (and gals) saved me from plunking down $$$$ for the v3 when it came out
