Currently I have an '88 Toyota Carolla and its in Chicago. I'm at a college 6hrs away in Missouri. I've recently gotten a new muffler, brakes, spark plugs, and new tires for the car. The city in Missouri has many hills and I'm worried that my transmission may get damaged. I'm also concerned about having to drive the car on the highway to transport it from Chicago to my college. Is this car dependable enough to endure the highway and hills? Does anyone recommend anything?
