I had some spare time tonight and this film fitted in so I gave it a watch.
Pacino hasn't been too good in the last half dozen films i've seen him in and this wasn't great either.
But apart from that, it's just the same old ending.
Sure, it was a bit of a guessing game as to who was setting him up but at the end it was so predictable.
The bad guy pointed their gun at him and went through a speech instead of just shooting him.
My ending ideas:-
1) Let the woman on the rope drop to her death. She had another hostage anyway.
2) Even if she didn't and she got shot, woman started to fall and he jumps to grab the rope.
Let him miss. Let her die.
3) Have it so that the rope was also attached to the second hostage so that she also died.
I'm just thinking of things to spice up these predictable movie endings.
It's either the good guy wins, or in a few movies the bad guy wins. Why can't they both loose? (Seven for instance)
