i just recently started working on a jetski thats been sitting around my dad's house for a while. got it up and running but i see it has an oil resevoir on the motor. it recommends using kawasaki jet ski oil but im having a hard time finding something called jet ski oil online. my question is what type/brand/weight of oil should i be using for this? right now im trying to be safe and just running a 40:1 / 50:1 mixture of gas oil like what my boat calls for but am curious should i try to find the specific oil its asking for (like from a dealer) or should i just continue to run the gas/oil mix in the tank like i do in my boat?? and if i do that should i drain the oil out of the resevoir or find a block off p late or something like that?
