I got a '87 Ford Bronco, but the switch for the power rear window is not working anymore, every time I try to use it, all I can hear is clicking noise. Not really sure what that means, anything I should look at? Suggestions?
The first thing you want to do is make sure you have power to the switches. Then if you do see if you have access to the rear window motor. If you can get to it have someone hold the button and tap lightly on the window motor. Sometime they just get a little stuck. If it works and the same thing happens again you know you need a new motor. If there is no power to the switches you know you have an electrical problem someplace. Start with the fuses. ( easiest place to start ).
where is the noise coming from, under the dash or at the rear window?
if it under the dash, there is a relay that sends voltage to the window
if it is the rear possible motor or regulator
