acceleration at all. PLEASE HELP? Started the car- warm weather, nice day- engine cranked over and 2 seconds later I heard a fairly loud pop that sounded like it came from under the hood (can't be sure- wasn't paying attention and windows rolled up). So, I started driving it and it felt like it was lacking power, but hoped it was just my imagination- but once i really tried to go somewhere there really wasn't much acceleration at all and barely enough to get out of first gear. now it won't stay running for very long and stalls out, with a slight tremor i can feel in the steering wheel. I haven't done a compression test like i know i should, but lack of time and frankly, I'm hoping someone out there would have a good idea the issue. please forgive my laziness and please help.
