S s0n1ab1ad3 New member Sep 14, 2010 #2 maybe you reheat the parts but not enough just reheat the IC and all the small componets around the connector or resolder every pin of any parts it will work 99.9%. many times i used this method and never been changed any ic and surely it works.....

E edwards1337 New member Sep 15, 2010 #3 if you are sure that the trackpad is working, from the trackpad connector there is small parts around on it just resolder it. and it will work again.
