848 Resale Value

If you wanted good resale value and you wanted a duc, why didnt you just buy a used one from a private party, the initial depreciation has already leveled off, most of the recalls have been taken care of and as a bonus you usually end up with a few trick parts you would have bought anyways. If you really wanted good resale value you should have bought a Lexus, so quite griping and enjoy summers almost here!

yeah I'm an idiot. But the difference between you and me is I'm happy to say so in public and I don't whine in a public forum incessantly about trying to make my mind up about what bike I should buy or about its resale value once I've just bought it....

here's a post that was considered useful.

Yeah, well we're done talking. I don't spar with assholes on the Internet, not gonna waste my time going back and forth with you. You have a serious attitude problem. It would be interesting to meet your sorry ass in person. You're all this and that behind a keyboard. I know your kind.

You seem to know you are an asshole and are comfortable with it. This is clear. I have no doubt that you have made some good posts on here from time to time but any good you have put up has likely been rolled back by the trash you throw around on here being rude and annoying to people for no reason.

You are exaggerating about my "whining" or whatever the fuck it is that you are talking about. Do me a favour, don't even bother respond to this because I won't be reading it. Do me another favour. If you see any posts by me on here just move onto the next one and harass someone else. I'm not looking to converse with knobs likes yourself. You cannot be reasoned with and clearly can't have a useful rational conversation with someone without sounding like a baboon.

I have no idea what your problem is...You know somebody is an idiot and has some issues when the first thing they say to you is:

"thank fark for that. Now I don't have to read more voilumes of your dillemas"

Just to try and explain your retarded behaviour I can only assume that you are some poor little rich punk who had mommy and daddy buy him and exotic superbike that goes around the Internet being useless. What else chould I assume? You act like a child.

I have made all but a hundred posts on here so far, a small percentage of which were associated with soliciting some input about a bike purchase. I just purchased a left over 1098s as a result. To me this is normal behaviour on a Ducati enthusiast forum. To you it is a reason to be an idiot to someone....

I do know this. I have met and worked with a lot of Australians in my time and they have all been fantastic folks. There's always exceptions I guess.

Good bye.

No....not really.
"Resale value"........??!!

FFS, We are Ducati riders - are we not men?!

This thread is totally gay, call it like it is.....

You know something John...

I totally hear what you are saying on this thread...maybe it is a bit counter to the spirit of owning a Ducati etc...

But for all you know the guy that originally posted this thread is more passionate even than you are about Ducatis and likes to change his Ducatis for newer ones often, as an example (and would like to avoid totally losing his shirt if at all possible on trades etc)....and related to this wants to ask a few questions about resale etc...

The point is...for anyone to assume that everyone's view point on issues is their own is just not reality. More to the point, for people to make posts on a thread and suggest that the originator shouldn't be posting about a certain topic for any reason is bordering on arrogant...Not everything has to fit a certain mould that some people might think needs to be fit etc...

Everyone is different and has different ideas...I know this is the wild west in the sense that it is the Internet....but geez...is there not some room on here for basic respect towards the ideas of others?

If anything I have just wrote seems inappropriate or wrong or out of place then feel free to tell me so...This is how I see it...

I honestly hate conflict but I have no problem calling someone out when I feel they are being unfair or inappropriate...South Aus being a perfect example...I sincerely did not like getting into that kinda bs with him and I would certainly prefer to just call it a truce and be gentlemen etc but at this point I see it as being up to him...If he wants to be sensible he will...If he doesn't he wont...At the end of the day he is some random dude on the Internet that did something offensive...There's something new...NOT...

Anyway, I hope this make some sense to you and others...If not, whatevs...

Cheers

Actually I'm in my late 40's, and I'm not a punk. I was a punk rocker in my late teens though, and I still listen to grungy music. Does that qualify me???? Keep your shirt on Harry, I was just winding you up in your thread, and I did. Wasn't too hard. SORRY petal, but he posted about a subject, and I responded - however not to your liking. And this wasn't even YOUR thread and you come in here and bashed me. You don't need to write an essay to flame me either. It just makes you look even sillier. We all get your point, but do you get ours? Oh and by the way, I just made a SENSIBLE post in your SENSIBLE thread about your new bike. If you want a few tips on setting your suspension up, send me a PM. Ok Harry? No hard feeling sweetie. The wonders of free speech in cyber world hey??? Ain't it grand???
