I'm sorry. I'm just bored out of my mind. But yes they fit. If you look on the parts manual both models share the same part number. According with the manual the number is 523.01.020.2D for both the 8 and the 11.

the reason why i'm asking is because the ones on the 1198 are longer and seem to have the bigger ends but thanks though

You might be looking at a set with the extenders on them....
