848 exhuast

I assume that we are talking about the stock exhaust? What you can do is remove and dissasemble the cans and remove the catalytic converters from each and reassemble with 5mm rivets and a hand rivet tool. This is really a very simple job to do and if you are not comfortable trying it. Any local shop would be able to help you out. Also visit JEGS online website and purchase a little of their heat shield material. It is sticky on one side and works great. I did the underside of my seat with it and noticed a huge improvement. The combination of the cats being removed and the heatshield under the seat has not only made the bike sound like it should but run cooler and the exhaust no longer roasts my buns.
