8350i gps problems

Hello, i got my bb 8350i with nextel a couple of months ago, and i havent been able to use the gps since i got it, when i go to options/advanced options/ gps it shows: GPS data source: None and i can't change it, and when i go to status and write TEST the gps option doesn't show, is this like a software problem, or a hardware one? is there anything i can do to fix this?
