8300 Curve Price Game

If that's true, then that would mean it's cheaper than my Pearl. When I got my Pearl, it was originally $300, but I got it on sale and ended up getting it for like, $79 after all of the instant savings and rebates.

hmm....I think I can handle those prices! Definitely switching over from Vzw, anyone wanna buy a brand new, only used for a week, unlocked Nokia E65? haha that would definitely fund my Curve purchase!

kinda makes sense you'd have issues seeing tmobile wasn't supporting the service books for the Curve. unlocked 8300 owners are now reporting a lot of issues resolved a day ago, including internet browser.

so i called TMO today and asked them about pricing and I also asked for a confirmation on the color...

the girl told me there are going to be changeable face plates with different colors... anyone else here this?

Ummm.... NO!!! It's coming in Titanium and Gold... neither actually look that bad... I'm partial to the Titanium... And the assumption on the service books appears to be correct.... they apparently aren't pushing out 'all' the service books yet as the HotSpot@Home feature doesn't completely work on it at the moment...

3+ megapixel camera? Video capture? That's why its $800. Its a 1 of a kind, defying BlackBerrys all over the world.

3+ megapixel? I thought it was only 2.

Spoke to a rep at the local T-Mo store. He said they are getting 10 total units on Monday...5 gold and 5 titanium. I was able to get my dawg, Ken, to hold one of those for me!

Pretty much a lock at this point. Takin back the Pearl and gettin my Curve on.

I talked to a TMobile rep yesterday and she said they haven't decided on a price that ready to be "officially announced"....

But she did say that, in connection with the Wi-Fi feature, they will have a bundling option with the Wi-Fi router, for the HotSpot

I haven't heard this either but here is a link that says that att is coming out with a 8310 in RED.

Ok, so this might be slightly off topic, but I feel it is mostly on topic. Yeah...sorry. So I think I might switch over to TMo from Vzw because I am living out of the country mostly (in Grenada) and Vzw doesnt even work here, let alone charge me several fingers/month. So I was thinking of switching to TMo, MAYBE using hotspot@home (my wifi availability here is questionable), but really it would be nice to have e-mail on me all of the time so anyone can get in touch with me constantly. I know most people don't like the idea of being so accessible...I do, for various reasons. My question is, does anyone think the price of the 8320 is going to come down by the holidays, or maybe once the new year rolls around? Also, think TMo will have any excellent deals for new/switching customers sometime b/w now and end of Feb '08? I will probably switch over sometime in Jan or Feb and sign up for a 1yr plan. (In the mean time I need to sell this brand new and virtually useless Nokia E65 I have)
