8300(Curve) OS Update

The current Rogers OS release is - App 4.2.2.89 Package 2.4.0.42. Has anyone on the Rogers network updated their OS to anything newer, perhaps the Australian or Chinese upgrade? I dont seem to be experiencing any issues with the current OS other then some bluetooth issues when answering calls but I'd like to know if anyone has switched to a newer version with no problems.

Rogers just posted the Curve Handheld code on their tech support web page. I believe that it is the same version as the one that came installed on the device although there maybe small tweaks to it. I have just reloaded the code mainly to erase some of the languages and the sample video as they just take up memory. The download of the code doesn't take as long as the device does to reconfigure itself after the download. If there are any new options or I notice any changes I will post a note on them. Deleting the languages and the sample video brought the memory up to 27mbs from 13mbs.
