82? Suzuki FA50 engine problems

ok so i have an old fa 50, sat in garage for 10 years got runnin all nice. ran for about 2 years really good. now the problem. When you take the thing out it idles fine and everything, but when you hit about 10 miles an hour the thing wont go past 10 mph it starts breakin up like crazy. i have no idea what it is and dont wana put money into the wrong parts please help
