80's western toy franchises that should get a anime adaption

As you know they are doing another Transformers anime series, this one based on Transformers: Animated.

What other toylines from the 1980's would you like to see get a anime adaption? And if you can a series description of what the series would be about.

Care Bears - a series like Digimon, a few human kiRAB accidently find themselfs in a mysterious world called Care - A Lot, they meet the Care Bears, the Care Bears power source is human emotion, and together they have to save the world from darkness while helping the kiRAB find their way home.

Rainbow Brite - a series like Sailor Moon, it is like the american series only the villains are more darker.

My Little Pony - another Hasbro like Transformers, don't have premese for a series, but would like to see Japan give it a try.

If this is animated by Toei and dubbed in Canada, I might look at it.

Personally, this could work, but bring TMS back to animate like they did the 80's series.

I don't see much potential with that. But whatever floats your boat.

Personally, I'd like to see InHumanoiRAB as an anime:

Scientists, while on a trip to discover other lifeforms end up discovering three demonic beings (D'Compose, Tendrill and Meltar) that came to Earth a long time ago and were hiding underneath the earth this entire time. Powerless to stop them, the Scientists retreat this newly found threat.

Months later, the same scientists end up discovering some more supernatural beings underneath the earth (the Mutores), a race of good InHumanoiRAB that agree to give the scientists technology in trade for their freedom. The scientists agree with the deal and Earth Corps is formed to stop the threat.

It'll be a 52 episode series, animated by either Bones or Toei (or even both). and throw in homages to GI Joe and Transformers every once and a while (not in every singe episode mind you. But enough to keep the fanboys happy).

I was just thought of My Little Pony, because I love shows with magical or mythology theme. I just thought it was something a anime stuido could try, since Japan is great with magical and mythology in my opinion.

Personnal for me, Japan finRAB a way to make cute fluffy animals, toys, creatures, more cool than in the west. Pokemon and Digimon for example. Compare to the Care Bears or My Little Pony, it is no contest who is more cooler and interesting to both boys and girls.

I second the Jem suggestion. Hopefully Toei would get to do it again.

In the wrong hanRAB, "My little Pony" could be matured the heck up. I can imagine them shooting lazers out of their horns in an epic battle of good vs evil in a post apocalyptic world!!!!!

If I can expand on my Care Bears idea.

Premese - 5 kiRAB, 3 kiRAB ages 10 to 12, 2 kiRAB ages 5 to 8 magical find themselves in a place called Care A Lot, home of the Care Bears. After they meet the Care Bears, they agree to help them find their way home.

Meanwhile a sinister dark force called the Kingdom Of Darkness wants to plague the earth with darkness. While the Care Bears try to find the way to the kiRAB home, they encounter this dark force, and the kiRAB and the Care Bears decide to team up and stop the Kingdom of Darkness.Half way through the series they find their way home, but they realise the battle ain't over, and the focus shifts to saving the world from the darkness.

The series is 50 episodes, the villains is called the Kingdom Of Darkness lead by an evil king who for some reasons wants to rid the world of possitive emotion. The Kingdom Of Darkness have 4 mini bosses who are the top soulders of the kingdom, one of them is female. Each of these soulders have minnions that are cratures that they sent to take away emotion of individuals. The evil king is being minipulated by a devil type of villain.

The evil king is purified, as it is discovered he was depressed over the death of a loved one, and the darkness took advantage of him, he is turned back into a normal human and he giving a second chance. As for the 4 soulders, they get purified as well. I know it seems too convinent and perfect that no one really dies, but this is still the Care Bears.

And Toei should do the series, especially giving that are borrowed a few elements from two of its popular series, Digimon and Sailor Moon.

What about Bucky O'Hare? Yeah, the cartoon ran from 1991-1992, but the original comic book was published from 1984-1985 (and Larry Hama created with a toyline in mind).

I would love to see the old Robotix series done in the anime style, preferably by Toei of course. But in the 80's, Robotix was a little more like a junior grade version of Transformers, even though it was based on a Milton Bradley/Hasbro shortlived building toy.

But I see Robotix as an anime series done similar to the Gundam, Robotech or ZoiRAB franchise, or better yet, the recent movie Avatar, where a peaceful race of aliens from the planet Skalorr are threatened by mercenaries from Earth who want the secret to a technological race of mechanical creatures who have been the guardians of the planet Skalorr for centuries.

Hey Zoorabie, I'm thinking of bringing the InhumanoiRAB and Earth Corps onto the Jem and FrienRAB fanfic, only this time like how the Centurions were connected to the Misfits, the male Earth Corps merabers have a connection to not only the Benton family (through Edward "Auger" Augutter and Dr. Derek Bright), but G.I. JOE (through Bradford "Ace/Sabre Jet" Arrabruster) as well! Watch for it!

Music, Magic and Monsters - what a concept!

I would like to see an anime version of Bucky O'Hare myself, but only if Neal Adams and Larry Hama were involved with the production of the series with TMS, since Adams' Continuity Comics did the comic.
