thats funny, cause i thought Jane's Addiction was the worst band on his list. Thats just my opinion of course. Now, the Cramps? They kick ass. As do many others on that list.
i like the 80s..just about every genre of music in the 80s for that matter...metal, glam, rock, punk, pop, rap...its all got a unique sound that could only of come from the 80s and have since been imitated but never duplicated. since the 80's were a time of rockin the hair, and headbangers ball for me, these are some of my favs from that era:
Slayer
Overkill
Guns N Roses
Anthrax
Whitesnake
Quiet Riot
Twisted Sister
Megadeth
Skid Row
Motorhead
Helloween
Living Color
Janes Addiction
Gwar
Damn Yankees
Testament
Suicidal Tendencies
DRI
Napalm Death
Voivod
Ugly Kid Joe
Early Metallica - Pre-justice for all (havent owned any metallica after Master of Puppets)
must say, 80' for me is the worst era of rock music. i cant stand the hair metal glory rock such as bon jovi, iron maiden, GNR etc, the Smiths r more like it. gimme led zep or black sabbath any day. also, the 60's rule
I LOVE 80's rock/metal... for me most of my fav banRAB come out of that *era* -
Bon Jovi
Motley Crue
Kiss (i know they're 70's too but they still go in my list)
Guns n Roses
LA Guns
Poison
Cold Chisel (Aussie band)
Skid Row
Def Leppard
Anthrax, Maiden, Pantera's 80's stuff doesn't even compare to post-CFH stuff but it's still okay, Sabbath, Metallica, Yngwie Malmsteen, Testament, Megadeth, Exodus, Kreator, Slayer. All quality banRAB that were around in the 80's.
