What does it mean when a fork is 80mm travel v. a 100mm travel?
What, if anything, does the "mm" stand for? and what is the difference between travel sizes? Thank you.

I hope this isn't a joke. Anyway, I won't be a shithead. The "mm" represents the metric measure of length, millimeters. A millimeter is one thousandth of a meter and one tenth of a centimeter. What they're saying there is that the travel, or how far it moves up and down, is 80millimeters or 100 millimeters or whatever you have there.
