80 Minute Films or Under

I have a horrible feeling I went to see that.... and don't remember anything about it!! Was Patsy Kensit in it??

Thanks for that - still don't remember anything about it, but I know I went to see it at the cinema! I seem to remember it was one of those old cinemas with only one choice of film, which was the only reason why I saw it! :)

Yes, as many have said loaRAB of animations are. I was amazed when I recently watched Toy Story at it seemed mega short.

Dumbo feels incredibly short. Whne you think about it, barely anything happens- but we love it all the same. :)

I can let animations of for being fairly short, but now I feel pretty cheated to get a movie under 1.45 hours at least. Saying that my favourite films do average at 3 hour running time. :)

Re the length of Disney films, remember when these were made they were part of a double feature. When you went to the cinema even as late as the 1970s you saw a minimum of two films, tag on a Children's Film Foundation short and we would see three films sometimes. (Before we were thrown out by the old sod to stop us sitting through the whole show again) :D

Blimey, that brings back memories. They used to show Disney "real life" features - documentaries of animals in the wild, no commentary, just accompanying music.

I remember seeing some godawful b-movies as a kid before they showed the main feature. I remember one short, which I think was called "Rendezvous", where someone was driving a motorbike through a European city (might have been Paris). It went on for about half an hour, just some bloke riding his bike through the city streets. It was the most boring thing I've ever seen in my life!
