Alex Rider books by Anthony Horowitz. It is an action/spy series and there are 6 or 7 books.
Flush or Hoot by Carl Hiassen
The Twilight series by Stephanie Meyers
 
well personally i love the clique books by lisi Harrison or any books by Meg Cabot (princess Diaries)
Also twilight is pretty popular!
