78 Kawasaki KZ 650 with a no start situation?

I have a KZ650 with a no start situation. Newly cleaned carbs, great compression, new plugs and wires. Carbs are set according to the service manual. The bike wants to start but will not stay running. It will start with starting fluid and stay running, but will not start with 92 octane. A leak down test was performed thinking that the valves were stuck open but passed with no leaks.
 
Quite possibly there's still some buggers inside a couple of the carbs. Also check the ignition timing and for presence of spark at the plug. I've also found that carb cleaner doesn't burn, so if there's still a bunch in your carbs' passages it needs to be blown out or flushed out.
