700w flashed to cricket, to internet?

I am having a hard time understanding what I need to do or the issue. I have the 700w (Verizon) flashed to cricket (done myself) I cant get internet to work on this phone. I have done the #777 in the network settings, have it set to my [email protected] and password as cricket. It tried ot connect to the internet and says the user name/password are incorrect.

I have IM just w/o images. (if that matters) I do have internet option on my phone service, and I can press *228 and I get the full upgrade was complete. (Cricket service) I tried to call *611 and talk to support, they said its because my phone was flashed over. (How did they find out?)


Is there anytrhing I am missing? I am in the Phoenix AZ area if that is any help. If there something else I can try. I am having the same issue on a Moto Q (Also Verizon but on a different nuraber)
 
unless someone figured out which registry entry it is, on the 700w the only way to do it, regrettably, is via serial cable and qpst.

(of course, if theres another way to do it, i'll be happier then... i was)

Same with the Q, but you can use USB to do it.
In fact, my wife's Q is now running EVDO, which is awesome. It actually seems faster then my verizon Q on verizon's EVDO (i assume because theres much less congestion and users per availiable bandwidth)
 
"username or password is incorrect" is a incorrect mobile IP setting.

i got past that part on mine, but still having problems.
now it connects to the wap network fine, but cannot find any sites, like the dns settings are wrong.
 
i've done two web sessions. one has wap.mycricket.com:8080 for wap, http and secure proxies.
the other has no proxies at all.

same problem on both. it just attempts to locate the site... and eventually times out
