After sitting for about 20 years, I recently got my 69 Chevy running. It runs and idles very nice, but starts to buck and die out right around 50 MPH. The motor is a straight 6. I Have changed the distributor cap and spark plugs and wires, put in a new clutch, changed the anti-freeze and oil, and adjusted the timing numerous times and yet it still dies out. Does anyone know what the problem may be? I was thinking it could be a combination of the carb and timing?
Thanks in advance,
Bill
