Well I have loaded Kirvin's 3.5, 1039 Prl, updated to 1040, added Minimo and B's MMS fix. I have changed all the settings per instructions. I have Cell service, wifi, and sms messaging. I don't seem to have internet via cell even though I have changed proxy settings inside on Minimo. Any ideas? Also there is no seemless switch to wifi and back cell? That will be tough for me since I use my phone for about 50/50. Thanks to all who have posted 6700 info here!

What did you input on the proxy line in minimo?

It should read:

wap.mycricket.com:8080
 
Hmm got IE working by changing one of the modem settings. Minimo still not working. Tried wap.mycricket.com and wap.mycricket.com:8080. Not sure what I have wrong but it must be inside Minimo.
 
If you want MMS to work on the phone ever, DO NOT set the proxy settings in the connection settings! If you do, I suggest you do a hard reset and start all over.

IE will work over WiFi, but that's about it. You will need Opera or Minimo to surf Cricket's web proxy using port 8080.

If the proxy settings are already set in the connection settings for dialup, ALL of the browsers should work with no further proxy settings for each. But again, you sacrifice reliable MMS setting your phone up this way.
 
Yeah I think a hard reset is a good idea. IE was working but now isn't (wifi was off). I don't think I have any need for MMS but I do need reliable SMS messaging and at least WAP browsing for my job.
 
Well I did a hard reset, updated PRL again, and reinstalled Minimo. I have sms messages and browsing on both IE and Minimo. It'll take a few days to convince me I have it whipped but so far it looks good.
