6700 internet settings

Hi all. I know everyone is going to tell me to search, but I have been for the longest time. I'm trying to find the settings for using Cricket internet on a Verizon 6700... I have it setup for dialing #777... my user name (cell phone [email protected] and password "cricket") and I can't get it to work. I cannot find badutahboy's guide anymore nor anything through a Google search. Is there an additional setting I need?

there is a sticky for it, and its so so easy, make sure of what connection ur using, if it keeps returning to sprint, do a hard reset and soft reset before customizations

also make sure you set the MIP setting in the epst to Simple IP only

Yeah, it is very easy, I just forgot all of the steps in the last 6 months. I saw the sticky, but I don't see anything about the login... the sticky OP has no info in it.

i always use wap.mycricket.com and 8080 for all proxy settings

idk if that could cause probs but it could and ur login stuff was correct

Aha, good call on that. I did it for all four proxies and now I'm up-- along with the MIP setting (thanks to the above poster!)
