6682 Covers

I don't know what you're talking about because he only sends the faceplate, not the keypad.

You still use your own OEM keypad which doesn't interfere with the faceplate at all.

That's classy. I have the black faceplate, and a deep blue one that I swap between, though both have seen better days. I'm harder on my phones than I thought. Lol. The black looks REAL good.

Well, i bought a face off ebay....it was the cheap one...it fit, but it would make the up key on my directional pad very hard to press. Also, if i used one the 2 main buttons (one which you have a shortcut placed on) it would stick. What a waste of 16$.

Has anyone had any success removing "Cingular" (in both places) from the branded phone?? I realize you could scrape it off, but I don't wanna scrape at that faceplate. I hadnt gotten around to trying the nail polish remover, plus with three males in the apartment, i'd kinda be worried if i found any in here anways.

ya, enquiring minds want to know...some pics would be good to.

Im thinking since there is no decent case for my 6682, i might just get a cheap faceplate to beat up instead.

I really like that red case i saw pictured above...im taking it thats a real OEM one since it looks so nice.

I don't know for sure, because I haven't bought a new face plate for my 6682. But when I had a 3360 way back in the day I got a new face plate for it. The volume SUCKED big time. I couldn't hear a thing with it turned up. Then I noticed the Nokia OEM face had a little foam - rubber seal that when between the speaker housing and the face plate. The After market one didn't. So I made one and glued it in place. Fixed the problem.

I know that dude. It didn't fit right. it was sligtly off by like by a hair I compared it to the OEM white one. Everything worked great except the up button. I did use my original keypad. Maybe it was just a faulty plate, again for 6$ i cannot complain.
