63 galaxie 390fe bored .30 over. ford?

New member
fresh rebuilt 390 all new internals. just put new flowmaster exhaust on. the first start up i noticed white smoke from the exhaust, for the first 3 minutes both pipes had white smoke, then just 1. is the white smoke normal after a rebuild, and how long should it last?
 
could be exhaust since its new check valve seals this nothing to do with your question but do a search on 64 galixy rocket car , i was impressed.
 
check the plugs, you might be burning some water, did you plug all the water passages ? leaky intake ? shouldn't last more than 5 minutes or until warm,

you can now say you have a 396 Ford :)
