OK, I would like something in the $300+ range, don't think I can justify an N80 for my needs.
Anyhow, my desires are:
1.) Earpiece with good, clear, loud volume.
2.) Speakerphone with good, clear, loud volume.
3.) Useable keypad, preferably be able to dial without
looking at the phone.
4.) Highest resolution camera available in this pricerange.
5.) Easy voice dialing. Speak the number, and the phone dials.
Notes: #4 and #5 are optional, as are MP3 players, etc.
Ability to surf the web, check email are not
important, don't carry a data plan currently. Size and
weight are negotiable.
From what I have read and tried briefly, the D807 is not going to cut it for loud volume or easy keyboard. The 6682 is complicated (or can be) and has a marginal speakerphone volume, but plenty of earpiece volume. I don't know anything about the 6270 other than it is larger. How great a speaker does it have? N80 would probably be great if it were not $500+.
The RAZR's would have decent speakerphones but minimal cameras, etc. I think.
At this point I don't care if it is a phone that Cingular sells. I will take my chances on warranty if need be.
Please feel free to suggest a phone that I have not mentioned.
Candybar, flip, slider...doesn't matter. I just want whatever would be the better phone based on the criteria I mentioned.
