6 weeks post op,stitch poking out through incision

My whole incision is almost completely healed except for the top portion. I guess I have a small part of a stitch poking through and it is a little lumpy. The whole incision was lumpy before but now only the top is still.

PT says it looks like part of stitch. Wound is not open or anything, will this go away or do I need it removed by doctor?

I had the same thing at the top of my back incision. I was 360 so I had onein front and one in back.

I had to see my doc every week till it healed right. I would call my doctor's office and see if you can drop by and show them-they can probably pull it right out!

If you are worried about it call the doctor. I just had one come out the other day and I am 21 weeks post-op. I have had them come out on their own and some the doctor has had to remove. Good luck!:angel:
 
THanks I'll have him ck it. I thought he only used glue, I didn't know there were stitches inside :dizzy: It as botheirng me until a week or so ago but now it doesn't really hurt. Either way I want it to fall out already lol. One PT girl told me it was a blackhead (but it's white) and then the other told me that I did have stitches inside lol.
