hi everyone..this may seem a bit long but im really needing some input. first, let me start by saying that i was on the depo shot for about 2 years. i stopped taking the shot august of 07. my fiance and i have been trying to conceive since then. my period came back pretty regular starting in december of 07. my periods come around the 18th of every month. well in june of 09 i got my period on the 18 and it lasted the same time as it always does..from 5-6 days. anyway, on july 3th, i just happened to take a pregnancy test and it came back positive. i started having horrible pains so i went to the er and come to find out i had a mc. i was very early along in pregnancy. my levels were only at 52 and they dropped drastically. i then had another "period" from the mc that lasted about the same time as a regular cycle. i then started my cycle on august 18th of 2009 and it lasted 5-6 days so i figured it went back to normal. now, here it is september and i am 6 days late! i took a home pregnancy test 2 days ago and it came back negative. although i drank a whole bottle of water before hand..so it may have been diluted. "wishful thinking" haha! my breast have been extremely tender and hurt horribly for the past week. when i get up from sitting i get dizzy, when i wake up in the morning i have a headache..then shortly after getting up im tired again so i go back to sleep and wake up with another headache. i also have been urinating SO much. i use to never get up in the middle of the night to go the restroom but for the past week i have been..every night! and i have had extreme lower back pains. im really hoping that i am pregnant but im not sure when i should do a home pregnancy test or if maybe the miscarriage messed up my cycles even though i had a regular one like always last month. ive heard it can take up to 2 years to conceive after the depo provera and this would mark my 2 years! any advice would be wonderful.
i don't think it would be messed up from the mc still, am no doctor but i reckon you are preg maybe you could give it a few more days then do another test or go to the doctors for a blood test that would deffo give you the correct answer good luck here av sum baby dust ~*sprinkles with baby dust*~ wish you all the best!
