5800 Rogers WAP services question

Hi, I have a question. So basically I don't have a data plan and I don't want to use data if possible. However, I want to be able to send multimedia messages. SO, I unblocked my data which was originally blocked. If I go under network destinations, delete WAP service point, then will my phone never be able to connect to the Rogers internet service?

if you wanna send MMS you will need it to connect to the internet as it uses At least edge to send your pictures.
