I have 15 Cichlids i this tank all going to be around 3, 4m some even 5 inchs when they are grown and 1 catfish that will be 8 inchs when grown. What is the best thing to do.
I dont want to get ride of them but will if i really have too
I cant afford another tank
but I was wondering if i add another filteration to my tank if it will help with the nitrite and nitrate levles. Since I have all these fish they rise offen.
Again I dont want to get ride of any but Will if it absolutly nesisary.
Thank you

Getting a good filter. Possibly a 100 gallon filter would help. Also try getting a good air pump so that there is plenty of oxygen in the water. Real plants could also help in removing toxins and adding oxygen.

Lol, "real" plants with cichlids huh? You sure know your stuff.

What kinds of cichlids are they? I can think of a lot of cichlids that would be fine with 15 of them in a 55, and many that wouldn't. It's not so much the bioload, its the aggression. With weekly water changes, you'll never have any problems. Please tell me what kind of cichlids you have, so I can really help you.
