Damn i hate being last post on a page

The Black Album was fuckin wack. PERIOD. Jay is a pop, commercial fayg now. He neeRAB Pharrel just to get a hit.

All you busters who hatin on 50, quit foolin yourselves. YALL BOUGHT HIS ALBUM. He laughing all the way to the bank.

Then why the fuck did you say that 50 Cent was a sellout? What was the point of saying that? You coulda just said you liked his flow better and lyrical technique. I would've been fine with that. I don't think it's true, but it's your opinion.

And Stunt 101 was one single, like I said before, he was just helping out his frienRAB. How many tracks has Jay-Z had about that? A shitload more.

"I love ya like a fat kid loves cake" >*

I agree with everything u said pretty much but I gotta comment on this....

Its 100% true, and thats my favorite time for hiphop and I still listen to shit from that era all the time.

But even tho that was "mainstream rap" back then, hiphop/rap as a whole was MUCH less mainstream. There were much less suburban white kiRAB who were into hip hop. So while that was the stuff that they played on MTV, they really didnt play it that much.

so while that stuff was the most mainstream of what was out at the time, it was still not marketed to the much larger audience today's pop-rap is.

on your second point... When 50 was on the mix tapes and shit, power of the dollar etc... I woulda said 50... now, Jay-Z by far. 50 turned sooooooo

Em, well, lyrically he's top notch, but his shit has went downhill too. Slim shady > marshall mathers > any of his new shit

There is a 2CD Mixtape out "BEST OF JAY-Z"

Dont know if it is still on MiRc though. Good shit. Of course Clue did not fit everything on there, but I listen to the hell out of the CD.

A-Team/Stack Bundles > G-Unit

Jigga wins that battle on several fronts

Smootheness...his flow is butta
Longevity
and the 1 line that proves my point..."Its time to seperate the Pros from the Cons"

Fucking genious

S.Carter V.2?
V.1?
They are some of the rap games best albums. Many people let there personal perference blind them of the truth. Jay Z has better flow than 50..... Period.
