50 Greatest Cartoon Movies

Animalympics: Sure, films like this are infamous for supporting the furry fandom subculture, but this is such a great movie cause: 1.It was animated by the talents behind "Tron". 2.It really showcased the style and majesty of 1980's sports events. 3.It focused on the dreams and backgrounds of all the characters it showcased. I really like the way it focused on the characters and what they fell and why do the the things they do and and what do they want to accomplish.

Wizards: The 1980's was infamous for barbarian-fantasy pop-culture (Dungeons and Dragons, Conan films, Red Sonya, etc) and this film was no acception. It was a bit of a anti-war and gun film cause the world in "Wizards" was earth in a apocalyptic state cause of the war and brutal savagery of man.

Rock and Rule: The music was phenomenal in this film. It really showcased the world and themes in that film.

Disney's Aladdin: Unlike most Disney heroes and characters who are at most times egotistical, uncaring and selfish, Aladdin was a completely selfless character from the start. Oh sure he had his own motives for his actions, but deep down he really cared about the people around him and the world he lives in, also his film was a amazing piece of work.

Neon Genesis Evangelion: The End of Evangelion: you have to see it to believe it. This movie defies explanation.

Transformers (1980's animated film): this was a complete shocker for me. First off, it killed of a lot of the established characters from the first two seasons of the animated series and introduced a whole new cast of Transformers, which a lot of animated franchises of the 1980's at the time never even tried. Secondly, it has such great animation for it time and lot of the best stuff was used for all the best moments in the film. Finally, the music was sensational. It might be a little dated for some people, but it was such a rush when ever I herd "The Touch"!

Batman Beyond: The Return of the Joker (uncut version): this is another film that caught me by surprise. Sure it was a DTV film and when it first came out it was completely censored, but when the original was released, it was revolutionary. This is what the animated DC Universe is all about; focusing around the characters and the world the live in and the way both evolved over time was just a breath of fresh air.

South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut: This was a roller coaster ride for me cause it had a crazy story and lot of cussing.:D

TMNT: It's nice to see the Mean Green Machines back in action.

The Secret on N.I.M.H.- What A Film! The animation was beautiful and the characters were a trill to watch. This is Don Bluth's masterpiece next to Dragon's Lair!

Yellow Submarine: If your a fan of The Beatles and psychedelic animation , you have to see this film!

Shrek 2: Lovable sequel, where the lovable Donkey, and his pal Puss In Boots they both steal the show.

Shrek the Third: Worth the wait. Nice to see more with the Dronkeys and the dragon.
