I want to see this movie again already...

It has been a couple of years since I actually liked the movie released on Valentine's Day weekend. I have to go hunt for a copy of The Wedding Singer now...

*hehe* Yeah, i like that part too.

If only more guys actually got that upset over losing a girl. :P Kidding, i think only Adam Sandler can do it like that.

Drew Barrymoore and Adam Sandler should do another movie together. They have great chemistry. And they are just on fire.

I'm supposed to go and see the movie with my mom today so I'm glad to hear that it's really good. I loved "The Wedding Singer". Drew and Adam work well together so I'm sure I'll love this movie.

I saw it yesterday and thought it was great! I expected it to be another funny usual Adam Sandler movie, but it was so much more.I thought it was really funny, but so sweet.Drew and Adam are so great together and I loved to see Adam playing more of a sweet character again.Great great great!

So I finally saw this movie yesterday, and it was rather sad, but sweet and well done.

Also, it was very, very funny - in a perverse sort of way.

It pleasantly surprised me (I love both Drew and Adam, so I was prepared to like it, but it had more depth than I expected).

Hey, same thing happened to me! except for the having a boyfriend part. :P And I loved the part where AS is wailing with the beach boys.

I'm very excited to see this, seeing as how I love Drew to death. It looks so funny & she & Adam have awesome chemistry together.

I'm supposed to be going to the movies this coming weekend with my mother & gonna talk her into seeing this. Well, I hope we go, something always usually seems to happen..

I just bought the DVD yesterday. I love the movie even more if possible. The extra features were nice especially the gag reel. I was ROFL while watching that!

And one of the deleted scenes btw Adam & Drew was so cute, I have no clue why it didn't make the final cut?!

Oh yeah, I gotta agree about the soundtrack. It's one of my favs ever. Being a child of the 80's I really enjoy listening to the various love songs covered by different artists on the album.

Go get the DVD, if ya haven't yet! ;)

Great movie.
I bawled like a baby. It was just that good.
Drew Barrymoore was excellent, and Sean Astin with the lisp and shirts with holes in them, lol. He was too funny.
Adam Sandler and Rob Schnieder were awesome. This was just a funny movie with heart. Something you don't see in the movies anymore.

I'll probably go and see this because of Sean Astin. I'm not an Adam Sandler fan, although I did like The Wedding Singer, and 50 First Dates looks like a bit of fun. I downloaded the trailer (didn't even see a glimpse of Sean

) it may be a fun way to pass a few hours!

I saw the movie yesterday and it was hilarious. Adam and Drew were great in it. I loved all the ways Henry tried to talk to Lucy with his car. Him having car trouble, being kidnapped, and then being beaten. Those were just hilarious scenes.

I laughed so hard throught the whole entire movie, it was great.

I rented this movie about a week ago with my boyfriend. And though i had no desire to see it when it came out in theatres, i actually liked it. It was cute, it was funny. And i liked the music from it.

It kinda made me sad, but it was good. :)

There are quite a few of Adam Sandler's friends who appear in nearly everyone of this movies. Take Ten Second Tom - that actor was in Big Daddy, the Wedding Singer, Little Nicky, etc. They're a very tight knit group of friends.
Heh. Sorry, I'm a Sandler movie freak.

I loved this movie. It was so sweet. Definitely one of my favorite romantic comedies.

Yeah, you do definiately MUST rent or buy it " The Wedding Singer" ( got the DVD )it is such a cute movie and it's the actually THE movie that made me a big Adam Sandler fan. I had seen his other movies before, but I don't love any of them as much as I love " The Wedding Singer" and well, now "50 First Dates".

I can't wait for the DVD. Although it'll probably be 5 months or more til that happens.

Aww, thanks for posting the pics. So are there any avatar makers out there? I REALLY REALLY want a "50 First Dates" avatar with Adam & Drew.

Honestly, before I saw this movie, I expected it to be just another Adam Sandler's funny movie to laugh for 2 hours. But after seeing it, I was surprised it was this good. It was funny and romantic and the characters are not cardboard cut-outs. And they didn't overdo the sweet factor. Maybe I should check out The Wedding Singer, I never got to see that one.

The movie was adorable, but I'm gonna have to ask Rob to start wearing pants and a shirt again
lol.gif
But that seemed to make the movie even funnier to me so...I guess he should keep on keeping on

I also love the soundtrack. My favorite so far is Lovesong by 311. Go buy the cd
thumbs_up.gif
And just to let you know I don't secretly work for the 50 First Dates promotional company

I just came back from seeing this movie and I
love.gif
it! The only complaint I had was that it was too short...
pout.gif
Other than that, it was a sweet, charming, and funny movie. Adam's performance as Henry gave me that same warm fuzzy feeling when I saw him in Big Daddy. And Drew was sweet and funny! Especially w/ that one scene w/ her and Rob.

Rob Schneider was hilarious though I honestly think the little kids they cast to play his children actually stole Rob's scenes
lol.gif

I completely forgot that Sean Astin was also in this movie until I saw him! He cracked me up w/ that lisp!

Love how they used Oahu as a setting for it (808 state represent! hehe).
