That's over $568,000 dollars per job are you freaking kidding me. lets just say the average income of these 88,000 jobs was 50,000 dollars. that will support all 88,000 people for over 11 years. We could have just paid these peoples salaries for 2 years until they relocated found other jobs etc etc and saved a fortune. GM should have failed it would have been a shining example to other businesses that you can not be to big to fail. What is the motivation to make your company competitive if you know the govt will save you with a bankruptcy bailout package? How does the Answer's community feel?
