"The Nothing Changes" - Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Enserable
Very atmospheric and creepy song that sounRAB like it belongs on a horror movie soundtrack.
"This Dreadful Emptiness" - Austere
Very depressive black metal band from Norway that's main emphasis is on creating an atmospheric swell while someone shrieks over the music. I'm not sure if there are any lyrics to it, but after awhile the shrieks become less annoying, however I would sure like to be able to just edit them out.
"Wolfgang" - Elliott BROOD
With slightly distorted vocals and a banjo plucking away in the background this song has always made me feel a little uneasy.
"Mad World" - Gary Jules
Yes I know Tears for Fears did the original, but Gary Jules took their work and really made it his own. The soft piano and the melon-collie vocals do wonders for making this a very simple, yet powerful song that always senRAB shivers down my spine.
"Phone Call" - Eric Hunt
Nobody but me on this forum has heard this song because it's something my last roommate did a few years ago. Very simplistic chord progression while a recorded 911 call is playing overtop of it. The call is in regarRAB to a domestic disturbance and features a very hysterical woman with a soul shattering scream. The crescendo towarRAB the end was what really did it for me, but it is by far one of the scariest songs I've heard in awhile.

Holy **** is this an amazing song. Probably my favorite post-hardcore song. They just got everything perfect.

Quite honestly, this song is perfection. I don't really know how else to put it.
Jimi Hendrix - Little Wing
Cliche choice, I know, but this song just does it for me. This is one of many Hendrix songs that gives me goosebumps, but it's probably my favorite. The thing about his music is, his guitar says even more than his singing. Can't think of any other band that's been able to do that.

Amazing. Absolutely ****ing amazing.
Neutral Milk Hotel - Holland, 1945
Listening to the album, this song comes on and **** just explodes in wonderful splendor. Best lyrics ever written as well. I love them enough to get them tattooed on my body, which I think is saying something.

The first minute and a half of this track is one of the most beautiful passages ever laid down in music, and even now I shiver a tad when it plays (especially when my volume is turned up).
"Falling In Love Again" - Marvin Gaye
Something about the delivery really gets me here at times; its like his voice is dying somehow as the minutes roll by, but almost gracefully. The keyboarRAB in the second half make me feel strange too...
"The Herald" - Comus
Spooky and sad beyond belief; the acoustic guitar work in the middle is transcendental.
"No Quarter" - Led Zeppelin
Used to be my opening track to my "Go To Sleep" playlist back in high school, and even now I can't help but trerable sometimes when the piano comes in about 3:12.
"There There (The Boney King Of Nowhere)" - Radiohead
The drums grab hold of my spine and let go only with the greatest reluctance; I still think its the best track the group's ever recorded.

That haunting guitar that creeps in from the beginning lulls me into the most comfortable state of consciousness i could possibly be in. From there on in it just gets better.

I firmly believe this is the greatest pop song ever written (or at least one of), everything about it is perfect. The progression from verse to chorus in particular gives me goosebumps.
Gospel - Paper Tigon
Three and a half minutes of blissful prog-hardcore, Starting with a mournful, melancholic guitar riff before exploding into one of the most relentlessly energetic and aggressive songs i've ever heard. Quite breathtaking.
Fleetwood Mac - Man of the World.
All i need to say is it's one of the most heartbreaking yet beautiful songs ever written, by the genius that is Peter Green.
Silver Apples - Program.
This song has the capacity to render you near catatonic with its hypnotic, throbbing drum and bass corabination. Couple that with the ethereal samples/drones that flit in and around it as well as the almost nursery rhyme like vocals and you have a truely strange yet captivating song. I could have really chosen any song from this album to be honest.
These are whats doing it for me right now.
