5 police cars showed up at my neighbor's house tonight?

My neighbor is a prescription drug addict. she told me she is a drug addict and about to go in a drug rehab program soon. She has a little 6 yr old little girl that sometimes plays with my son but doesn't often cuz of their problems.
Tonight they had 5 police cars and an ambulance. They took out her husband on a stretcher. My guess is a suicide attempt. he looked on drugs...on something. My son saw him and said "mommy, Mr. Dan is dead?"
Should I be worried? i didn't want to nose in their business. What is your guess for that many policemen to show up?
My area has the lowest crime rate in the county so this is rare and possibly the cops were bored.
 
You neighbor could be a "Cop Groupie", but likely, it was a slow night and every car in the area responded to the 911 call. Sometimes the guys get bored, really. There was a bank robbery a few miles from my home not long ago and I counted at least 15 marked cars, countless unmarked cars, about 50 cops and another 25-30 FBI.Helicopters, News and Police, etc. It was the perfect time to committ a crime across town. LOL

At least your area has a good police presence and response.
