...wrong with me? i have already talked to my doctor about the stress and depression i've been feeling due to my significant other, my boss, my financial state, my problematic car, etc, etc.

but usually when i'm depressed, i want to eat.

it seems that i would be wanting to eat even more, being pregnant AND depressed, but my stomach will growl, and there is usually not one kind of food that seems appetizing to me.

i know that i must eat to keep me and baby healthy, and i do - but i literally have to force it down. not all the time - but often.

could being pregnant be causing me to have an adverse reaction to my normal eating habits during stressful times?

ur whole eating pattern changes while pregnant.
before was used love noddles but while was pregs, i would vomit from them even tho know love them and after had my baby could eat them again without vomitting from the smell and taste.
the foods didnt like i ate and couldnt get enough of, i mixed curry and cheese together dipping toast into it (yes sounds horrible but at time tasted yummy)
everything changes and even sence smell too, could smell something and end up head over the loo in bathroom.
just make sure eat something, 3meals day and try new things too to see what agrees with u while preggers. dont over eat as many people think can eat for 2 now and over eat putting on more weight than needed, which dont need to do, just ur normal eating habits with ur meals etc.
try to enjoy ur pregnacy while lasts, congrats and good luck.

Yes, I know how you feel. I'm 32wks and I've seemed to have lost my appetite too. I'm not under any stress, but your eating habits do change while you're pregnant. At one point I wanted to eat everything I saw and that was around 26wks, so how you're feeling is normal. I just keep a lot of my fav snacks around b/c I know I need to eat so if I'm not in the mood for a meal at the point it ok b/c I know I've been snacking all day and there is food in my tummy. I also feel nauseous when my tummy is too full so it's better for me to have a little food in there at all times. Hope I could help and congrats on your baby :)
