I'm trying to make this as short as I can...
When I first started getting periods (I was 12) they would last months and caused me to be anaemic. (sp?) They would be heavy for 7 days and then really light for the rest of the month and then when it would have been my normal time to start again it would be heavy, and then repeat.
When I was older and learned this wasn't normal I started taking iron pills and birth control to help regulate. They helped my cycle but always made me sick so after trying 3 different BC pills I gave up. Thankfully my period stayed regular!
So now I have a 28 day cycle and my period last about 7 days. I downloaded a program that is awesome and keeps track of my period for me, the last few months it's predicted my period to start on the exact date I actually did!
So this month I should have started on Feb 10th, 2010. And of course I did! It was really light and by the end of the day it was gone. It's now the 15th and it still hasn't came back. This is pretty weird for me as I always have long periods, the shortest I've had since I started getting my cycle was 4-5 days.
My husband and I use condoms... but not right away, we put one on towards "the end" which I know isn't how they should be used! So now I'm wondering if I'm pregnant and if I had implantation bleeding... I have taken two test. One last night as soon as I bought them and one this morning and both were negative. So I took them 4-5 days after my "one day period". I'm not sure if I'm testing too soon or if something else is wrong with me? I was sick to my stomach (Not throwing up but the other end (sorry)) last weekend for about 3 days and then it stopped when I started bleeding so I thought it was cramps. Now the bleeding is gone and I'm feeling sick again. I don't have health insurance so I'm trying to solve this on my own without going to a doctor...
I had a miscarriage a few years ago, I was a little past 7 weeks so if I am pregnant I want to be super cautious so it doesn't happen again. I really just want to start my period so I know the negatives are true or get a positive test soon so I can do everything I can to make sure I don't miscarry again. If anyone has had this happen to them before please let me know! Thanks!
