5 Best Musicals

The Sound of Music
The Phantom of the Opera
Chicago
Moulin Rouge
and hopefully We Will Rock You after tomorrow night :)

If not then The Lion King or Seven Brides for Seven Brothers

And I thought no-one would put this in! It's great! :D

Admittedly, even though I have a bit of a 'thing' for SMG & AH, this is the only 'Buffy' that I own. :)

So,

1. Buffy
2. The Producers (of course it counts!)
3. The Blues Brothers
4. Tommy
5. I'm not 'big' on musicals, so four will have to do!

South Park - The Movie
Moulin Rouge
The Blues Brothers
The Rocky Horror Picture Show

I'm not big on musicals either.

Paint your wagon
Sound of Music
South Park the movie (cheating I know  )
South Pacific
Bugsy Malone
Son of Paleface (a Bob hope classic, dunno if it can be classed as a musical)

I am not a big fan of musicals.

42nd Street ( the black & white one)
Calamity Jane
Cry Baby
King And I
My Fair Lady.

Anyone know 'Cry Baby' with Johnny Depp and Iggy Pop.........it's a reworking of the Romeo & Juliet story set in the 50/60s Baltimore............it's fantastic, the 30 minute section where Johnny is in Juvey (Jail) is musical heaven.

I forgot 42nd street! I must have watched that 40 times....good old Ruby Keeler and Dick Powell.

Went to see it on stage in London too.

Ooh, good question :D

I don't know if I can pick favourites, so it'll have to be the ones I've seen most often:

The Wizard of Oz
The Sound of Music
My Fair Lady
Paint Your Wagon
Cabaret
