How do late 80s to early 2000s Toyota, Nissan, and domestics stack up against each other? Which is the better? Also, is there enough room to fit a baby seat in the middle, perhaps with some seat mods? Thanks!

honestly i wouldnt get a new truck the goverment is taking credit cards valua down and everything is becoming expensive so save your money

older Toyota trucks are much better then Nissan trucks, but the new trend now is that Nissan are faster trucks but Toyota are more safe, durable and better looking. Having a child I'd go with a Toyota 2door with a center bench for 3 or a 4 door cab.

I like all import trucks, Toyota over Nissan. But you should take a look at the Mitsubishi Raider, I don't know many statistics about it but they look like a pretty solid vehicle.

S10
Tacoma
or
T100
all good

as far as i know all three were made to have an extended or crew cab

1999-2000 Chevy S10 is one of the best domestic minitrucks maybe a Durango

1996-2000 Toy Tacoma
and
1996 Toy T-100 - are best in reliability and durability, trucks are built tough, im a domestic enthusiast but those Toy trucks just flat out beat any mid-size truck the Big Three have to offer

they are all highly customizeable, with plenty of aftermarket parts, so yes a baby seat will fit, and they all come in 4x4 or AWD, though adding a bigger heavy duty transfer case wouldnt hurt on any model.

stay away from nissan
