On the last episode of 'Winx Club'... still distracted about Baltor's revelation that her parents were trapped inside of him, Bloom decides that she can't leave it to speculation and does everything she can to find out the truth. With the help of her girls, Miss Faragonda, and the Ancestral Witches, she finally learned the stinging truth. That they were still alive in some distant place... a place too far for Bloom to even think of being able to get to.

Meanwhile, as Baltor is still deciding how to off the fairies once and for all, he gives Icy, Darcy, and Stormy a power upgrade, in hopes of leveling the playing field a little.

Sadly, and there's no easy way to say this... the Trix got their butts kicked.

This Week's Poll: It's been asked several times before, but with the series just about up, you now have a whole body of work to base your vote on. Who's your favorite all-time Winx girl? Maybe you're an ex-Stella hater who absolutely adores her now. Or someone who considered Musa a throw-away amongst the cast in the past. Still into Flora's wallflower-like behavior? Has Tecna dazzled you with her sacrificing smarts? Does rough-and-tough Layla still hold a place in your heart? Or are you still a from-Day-1 Bloom supporter? Vote now for the girl you think you'll remember the most long after the series is gone!

Two weeks left... hasn't really hit me yet. Maybe the penultimate week is the one that does it?

Note: Apparently last week's thread got a little unstable than usual, at least I heard. I do not know what exactly happened, but I'm gonna guess it dealt with someone coming in and bashing the show. While we appreciate everyone's opinions, please don't come in to bash the show just to bash it. That's trolling, and TZ doesn't support that. If you can't say anything constructive, please don't say anything at all. Thank you.

Special Note: The poll for the series finale will be a vote for the best scene/moment/event of the series ever. Submit your nominations now... two moments will be picked from each season to go in the poll. Have a say in the ballot... don't make me have to pick them all! :p You may suggest more than one moment, FYI. Also, the poll will go up the day after the finale airs (i.e. September 23rd) to allow people to consider moments from the final episode, if they so wish.

in other news, Veoh has the Winx Movie Trailer up, the subbed version of the italian movie trailer can be found there...

well we have the final episode next week! and on other words the end of winx club except 4 the movie well anyway i liked this eppy.

Speaking of "The Movie", i found this on YT:

Winx Movie Trailer in italian with english subs (SPOILERS)

This eppy was great, i can't say much for Baltor, i mean, he's down....
for now

I'm going to give this second to last episode a 4.5/5, can't wait for next week, im holding a sleepover party to commemorate the finalie...

Here are my thoughts on this ep:

1. WHOA!!! Baltor's demon form scared the crap out of me!!!   I'm surprised he even made the Trix cower in fear!

2. I felt Sky, Brandon & Riven did a nice attempt to stop those tornadoes.:)

3. For once, I kinda felt sorry for Ms. Griffin, Lucy and everyone else almost drowning in that flood.

4. I was so relieved when Bloom and the others got out just as that portal was closing!!! :D

5. I was so glad when Tecna and the others helped Bloom when Baltor almost defeated her. There was no way she was gonna take him on alone.:D However, I DID agree with Bloom that their convergence shield wouldn't do any good if it drained all their powers. I can understand her concern for their safety.

6. I thought that was an excellent strategy on Bloom's part: using fairy dust while Baltor kept attacking her to open and drain that "elemental box" of his!:D Of course, I felt it was also a big risk, but one she was willing to take! :D

7. Too bad the Trix got drenched when the lake reformed.:p Looks like it's back to the "Reform Realm" for those 3!!!:p :anime:

I felt this was a pretty exciting ep! 4 stars! Sadly, there's no time to celebrate just yet Winx girls & RF boys! I say that because...Baltor hasn't been defeated yet! And he looks really ticked off!!!!!!   :ack: :ack:

So, next week will be the final episode! I can't wait to see how it'll turn out!

One last thing. As for the poll, I voted for lovely Flora as my all-time favorite. She always has been since the first time I saw her in episode 2, and she always will! I'll never forget her!;) :anime: :D

I don't see any inappropriate spoilers here or comments made solely for the sake of posting spoilers and not offering anything else. Now please play nice. There are only two discussion threads left. Let's not make a mess of them like last week's turned into.

Light Rock/Haven/Happy Crappy Land did not work on the witches last time. It's stupid to think it would work now. Very disappointed at the total lack of creativity in punishment. Actually, I think they should have just gotten away and been left an open end. It's more interesting that way. Not to mention less repetitive writing. But why should I expect good writing now in a season full of crap?

Oh, look, it's deus ex machina dust again. Yay. Whee.

I'm underwhelmed.

Now onto the best moments. My nominations...

Season 1:
-The witches yoink Bloom's dragonfire successfully (at last)
-Darcy dumps Riven
-Mirta gets depumpkinized
-Darcy spells Riven

Season 2:
-Musa's concert
-The Trix hating life in Light Haven in ep 2
-The Trix taking on the Winx and the boys in the Underrealm (specifically, Icy's frozen bridge explosion)
-The first appearance of Dark Bloom (you know, the one where she actually DOES something)

Season 3:
-Fairy Mirta!
-The introduction of Chimera
-All her friends tell Stella what they really see in her in ep 4
-Flora finally shines in ep 12

I might as well post a spoiler about the ending, but it's a pretty obvious one if you think about it. It's not a major one.

It ends with a party, just like the other two seasons.

If it's an official web page (such as the official page for the show), it's allowed. If someone has taken it from another page and stuck it on YouTube, I'm going to say no, it's not allowed. It's pushing the rule of "bumpers" and other short related materials a bit much.

And on another note-- this is the second time I've had to clean up a Winx thread.

I will remind everyone---

1. USE SPOILER TAGS even if it's a mundane, small spoiler and has not yet aired here. It's common courtesy, and it's also in the GENERAL RULES OF CONDUCT. This is a place to discuss the current episode and episodes past. If you plan to spoil a future event--- please use a tag. It keeps the discussion more enjoyable for those who have not seen future episodes.

2. If someone violates a rule--- report it, and don't fuel the fire. I know it's hard-- but we have had an announcement in place since last November, asking for you guys to please not respond to rule violators and violations. Do us a huge favor and report it-- and don't fuel it.

You can also check to see if a mod for the board is online and drop them a note, but at the very least-- just move on.

And 3. Play nice. I know discussions and arguments can get heated really quickly. Don't let it get to you.

If things don't start shaping up, we won't be able to have these talkbacks, and I know you guys like the talkbacks.

So please--- play nice, and use courtesy in discussing the episodes of this show. It makes things better all around.

As for your "warning", how is
mentioning there being a party at the end of next week's ep considered being a spoiler? It's a given since at the end of Seasons 1 and 2, there were parties as well.

So that's what it was all about last week. Oy, you guys... Delia's right. I thought we had the whole 'please do not spoil' thing down already!

And thanks to everyone who's made suggestions for next week's series finale poll. I haven't gone through the process of picking and choosing yet, so if you've already submitted a list and want to add/subtract/modify it, go ahead. If you're thinking of putting in a list and haven't yet... you've got until a week from today (that's the day after the series finale airs) to put in a list.

******

"Let's face it, we have bad taste in guys. First Darkar, now Baltor. We keep hooking up with losers!"

"The closer we get to biting the dust, the more jokes she (Stella) makes."

The second-to-last episode, and we get some absolutes...

- Baltor reveals his true form... an angry demon gargoyle!
- We've seen the last of the Trix, and they're going out with a whimper. (At least they'll be happy... not!)
- They made it plainly obvious Baltor isn't done yet.

So we start off with the opposite of last episode: Icy, Darcy, and Stormy are now ragging on Baltor for not stepping up and beating Bloom and the girls. Baltor tries to show he is serious by unleashing the powerful 'Spell of the Elements' to wreak havoc on the realm.

The Winx girls came to the realization that Baltor needed to be stopped long ago, but we're now at a point where they too have to get serious and end it now. The 'final' battle itself kinda rumbles around, focusing on Bloom vs. Baltor for a good bit (no complaints there) but leaving the rest of the cast with not much to show for - other than Trix easily going down again (blech!).

The battle improves when the other fairies help defend Bloom, and then cover her for her ultimate plan - to act as a distraction while she breaks open the spell box via her fairy powers. Not the safest idea, but admittedly Bloom steps up and outwits the rather angry Baltor. Unwittingly, this ends Baltor's reign of terror as all of his bad deeds are undone by his 'passing,' while the witches... have already long jumped the boat on their 'master' - and into the arms of the Light Haven guys. Ha ha... maybe unoriginal, but funny.

And just like that, it's over. Or, as Bloom says, speaking for the thoughts of most of the fanbase, she can still sense Baltor's life force (uh... duh, obviously!).

The real final battle better be something spectacular. I can already sense more than the minor quibbles the first two season finales gave us (or me, at least). That's not a good thing, given the show's track record.

"The Spell of the Elements": 3/5.

Because it is in a future episode. Plain and simple. I just had to edit your posting of the spoiler again. Please don't post the spoiler again unless it's in a spoiler tag.
