Come join the club...
It's Winx Club Season 3, with the Trix teaming up with a new villain in Baltor, and our heroines trying to obtain their Enchantix powers! They may all have them now, but one girl is still missing in action...
This Week's Premiere: #169 "The Omega Mission"
Airs: Saturday, Apr. 28, 2007 at 8 am EST on 4KidsTV (Check your local listings!)
Encore: Miss the episode? Go see it on 4KidsTV Video on Demand, on their website - usually up within a day after airing!
Summary: Unaware of the troubles the gang's facing in the Omega Dimension, Bloom races there with her newfound Enchantix to help.
Note that this week's poll is not a ratings poll... this week, I'm asking you to pick who you think has the best Enchantix look/design!

Also, TV listings have a repeat listed next week... of "Miss Magix," the beauty pageant episode from Season 1! What gives, 4Kids, showing repeats during sweeps?

well now that we got to this episode they dont show the finals.til like june or somethin jsut to keep u watching.which well sux cause well like u said freedom fighter its going all the way back to season 1 with miss magix:( cant remember what they are calling the week ends with the repeats but either way id rather them show season 3 to get it over with

4K!dsTV Talkback: Winx Club "The Omega Mission" (Spoilers)

Repeats suck. Now on to episode comments:

The pixies: They randomly appear, though Kiko is nowhere to be seen. Poor Kiko. Forgotten again. Is it really so hard for the writers to add him in there? Bloom would not forget about her pet. Amore and Lockette still annoy me. So does Tune, whose etiquette rules seem pretty subjective. If she wants to eavesdrop, then it?s not rude, but I?m sure she?d call someone else out if they did it.

The ?rare exception?: That is bull, pure and simple. I still want an explanation for Tecna?s Enchantix. Crappy writing! Don't make one person out to be a rare exception when there's another that also got her Enchantix without following the rules.

Bloom: I really liked her this episode. She was strong, but not annoying. Whether you like her or not, you gotta admit that dragon attack was pretty sweet.

Tecna: Absolutely rocked this episode.

Slumber party: Amore asks what you do at slumber parties. Apparently, you wear shoes with socks. Lame.

Engagement: So Bloom and Sky are probably going to get engaged before Winx is finished. Not this season, but maybe in the movie. Push for a long engagement, Bloom, because take a good look at how his last one worked out. They?re WAY too young to get married anyway. If you can?t legally drink yet, you shouldn?t be getting married.

Overall, this was a good episode. I enjoyed Bloom and Tecna a lot, even if other stuff did annoy me.

Ok, here are my thoughts on this ep:

1. I really liked Sky & Bloom's reunion after they were apart for so long.:)

2. I felt sorry for the other girls when they were so weak from being trapped in the deep chasm, they fell asleep; except for Stella who did her best holding off the Omega monsters.:(

3. I absolutely loved when Sky & Bloom reunited with Tecna!:D I also loved Tecna's self-made outfit! I thought it looked gorgeous!;) :anime: I then also liked when the three defeated those Omega creeps and freed the boys.:D I especially loved Timmy & Tecna's reunion!:D Oh, I also liked how Tecna's Enchantix helped free the other Winx girls.:)

4. YES! Enchantix convergence rocked!!!:D :D :D Well, even though it only slowed that ice snake down a little so they could escape, as well as allowing Bloom to communicate with it.:) At least that snake did a good job chasing away those ex-cons!:D

5. Finally, I absolutely loved the slumber party: their pajama outfits were gorgeous:anime:, I loved Stella & Musa's pillow fight:p, I liked seeing Tecna & Layla dance:), and I loved Flora's dialogue to Bloom about her possible engagement to Sky!:) ;) :anime: :D

This ep was great! I give it 5 stars! Welcome back, Tecna!!!!!:D :D :D

I enjoyed how Bloom was able to help save the day, but they didn't make her the main focus. The beginning was well balanced, but the end was like nothing had changed.

They're calling the event 'Most Magical Moments,' which assumes it's not just one week... it'll probably be repeats for the whole month. In fact, I think 4KidsTV's entire line-up is going into repeats next week... which befuddles me to no end. But, whatever... it's their network they're driving into the ground.

Observations from this week's episode:

As much as Sky and Bloom deserve to be together, it's odd that, at this point in their relationship, it still comes off as awkward at points like this. I think I'll chalk up to the Diaspro incident earlier this season... it's like they've started from square one again, with Sky trying to win back Bloom's trust and Bloom haphazardly accepting his forgiveness.

So now we know how Tecna held out in the Omega Dimension. Good for her... creating what I assume to be some sort of shield-generating outfit to keep her safe and warm. Tecna really shines in this episode.

I agree with Darcy, though... how the 'Enchantix exception' can be applied to Bloom acceptably though not for Tecna still baffles me plenty.

At least we're not going to be left on a cliffhanger... but I wonder how the nine episodes left this season are going to play out. I mean, other than Baltor and the Trix, the only remaining hanging plot point is... Layla and her stalking suitor. They really need to start addressing that fully...

"The Omega Mission": 3/5.

They do that in Episode 71. Radiance was under their spell again, and Cassandra had Stella banned from their wedding (gee, I wonder why), however she and the others managed to get in, she exposed their plan by showing the people Baltor's mark on her father, and the two have a little mother-daughter bonding (or should I say bondage) at the end. Ep 72, there wasn't much. It was kind of a Pixies-only ep. You do see the girls at the beginning and end.

Mod Note: Edited to include spoiler tags.

For future reference, I'm suggesting mega-spoilers be put behind a spoiler tag/cut of some sort, just to be safe.

Not all areas of the world that get this show, have been brought up to speed with particular future episodes. As a general rule of thumb it's best to discuss this episode and prior episodes to be safe.

Glad to know I'm not the only one who felt that way about the slumber party. Come on. Those outfits were way too formal and dressy for a sleepover; they looked more like runway models than girls in their PJs. 'Cause I know whenever all of my female cousins and friends went to a slumber party, they always remembered to bring their high heels!

Why not just make this a pure Winx Club topic? It makes it easier than posting a new one each time an ep airs. Anyway, on to Ep 73.

It starts with the girls training against Bloom, thinking that if they could defeat her Dragon Fire power, they could defeat Baltor's the same way. Meanwhile, Layla is arguing with her mother about her arranged marriage, and she says she'll decide who she wants to marry (she changed her mind apparently from Season 2, when she said she was never getting married) when Tecna believes she has found the way to defeat Baltor and his Dragon Fire. She explains that around the time the Dragon Fire was created, another force called Water Stars were also created. The Winx girls and the specialists head to the Red Tower in the Golden Kingdom (where the ancient wizards locked the stars since they and the DF can't be together), when Layla catches Ophir (who she met in Episode 70) stown away on the ship, and takes him to the bridge where they agree to hold him prisoner. Flora sends a message to Helia with Stella, Sky, and Tecna all sending their greetings, along with Musa with her back to the camera who is busy shackling Ophir. Layla takes him to the holding cell, however a brief jolt sends them both into the cell where they each talk about their favorite song. Back at Red Fountain, Helia has come out of the shower (fan service girls), and notices the message from Flora. Riven comes in, and sees Musa back to the camera in front of Ophir, thinking that she has dumped him, so he goes after them, however Helia thinks it's just a misunderstanding. In a previous ep, Helia said to him that Musa was thinking about dumping him. After the ship crash lands, the Pixies (except Piff who's with Timmy at the ship) escort them to the tower, where they run into some multiple eyeball/tentacle monsters. When Layla gets attacked, Ophir blasts them, removing his shackles in the process. When she realizes that he could remove them anytime, she wonders why he didn't. He explains that she told him not to. He tells her to reshackle him as to not arrouse suspicion by the others. Once they get to the tower, the Pixies head back to their village in case of an attack. The girls and the specialists get attacked by winged centaurs. Musa gets knocked out cold by one of them, just as an unshackled Ophir (at Layla's request earlier) picks her up, just as Riven arrives and demands that he put his "girlfriend" down. Yes, he admits that he likes her. The ep ends with that scene.

Because we don't do things that way. How about you be more respectful of our ways? If you want to post here, we'd appreciate you following our rules and not criticizing how we do things. I'd also recommend not posting future episode details here. Either wait for the ep to get its own topic or go start your own topic with all your little spoilers.

Discussion of the replay can be kept in this thread assuming it doesn't turn into spam.

Any new episodes (Assuming they'll air anytime soon) will each get their own talkback.

Next week (the 21st of July) on 4KidsTV, according to Zap2It, This episode will defenitly replay, also, the new episodes will start the week after next week (the 28th of July), so get ready!
